Understood. The vast majority of my position came between $.17-$.26 mainly due to timing of available funds and expectations of a hard takedown after funding from Mr. Woodford was cut off near the time of maximum spending to complete the Phase 3 trial and needed ramp up of Sawston. I have bought more over time at higher prices but nothing compared to that load up period when I saw 6/$ and would have loved to pick the 7/$ when it was around for a while.
The reason I had/have no doubts about eventual success is that Direct is simpler to make, automated and is more effective when administered properly. It could have been prioritized quickly over L if L was not going to be viable due to complexity or other. The switch to prioritization of Direct could have been made in 2014 which is when I first mentioned this on Seeking Alpha. Fortunately it wasn’t and Dr. Linda Liau will have her day in the sun in spite of all the delays to get through the log jams with guidance, product release and supply chain issues. Some of these same issues would have dogged Direct as well but now have been cleared out of the way by going through the L approval process.
Big pharma got their 10 year plus delay for their checkpoint inhibitors with help from the 7 market maker accused perps to run solo and now is the time for DCVax. Best wishes.
