It is interesting that they gave a trending negative statement rather than an outright rejection.

I suppose that means they wanted to give Anavex some wiggle room. The question is why?

Anavex could withdraw and maybe that is what the CHMP was wanting Anavex to do.
The question is why what benefit would that have for Anavex or the CHMP?
