When I retired I turned everything over to Fidelity. It was either them or Vanguard but Vanguard's office is too far away. I meet with Fidelity once a quarter to see what they are investing in. They manage a couple of fund accounts then some stock accounts for different reasons. I still have one cash account just to play with. I'm pretty insulated from the mood swings out of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
