Understand, but they have both been huge gainers for me over time. My beneficiary IRA is small compared to what I amassed in my 401K over the years. Have slowly rolled over chunks of that to managed strategies with wealth advisors I know who have done a fabulous job in both up and down markets managing funds for a couple of Foundation Boards I have served on. The strategies are not funds but rather managed groups of stocks with high and rising dividends.
