TLDR - its not like other cancers aren't costing NHS money. If you had a better treatment come along that can be used for other cancer indications that is CHEAPER, more EFFECTIVE, and has a better SAFETY profile, why wouldn't you want to use it for your patient population. Good lord manibiotech, I hope you aren't in finance cuz that's basic economics. We all want the best bang for our buck.
