If what you say is true, you were made privy to material, non-public information. I don’t know who you claim you spoke to, or how this person would know that since drug regulators do not disclose such things to companies with product candidates before them, but if it’s true then that person should be fired. (Interesting that Anavex’s self-proclaimed biotech analyst and mouthpiece also said the same thing.)
In my opinion, anybody who is now aware of this apparent improper disclosure of insider information should refrain from buying or selling stock unless and until Anavex discloses the information to the public. I’m sure I don’t need to remind anybody that trading on material, non-disclosed information is a crime.
