srry SSk for that crazy Mets year. Best record in baseball after 69 games and then playing .409 ball the rest of the year? Tale of two teams. Kinda felt this team had no real leadership.. and I mean amongst the players. Seems like they needed a firebrand leader to get these guys to play with some heart.. one of them ole timey '86 guys like Ray Knight to add something thats not just in player stats.

At least you guys always have enuf moolah for a shot at next year.
