Heck even mets fans couldn't stand this team. trust me I watched them this year, and all they were good for all year is making me miserable. really that's how bad they were. at least the 2007 mets as bad as it ended made me feel happy most of the season before a 3 week disaster. I've been miserable since june 13th. this team had no heart, was complacent all year, not greatly managed (with today being perhaps the worst managed game I have ever seen), the gm spent money stupidly. etc. etc. The reds made it, truthfully I think the mets would of been more dangerous against the dodgers if they made it, but they didn't deserve too, they lost 6 of the last /8 series too team not in the playoffs, eventhough they won 5 of the last /6 series I heard somewhere against playoff team, you can't stink against the nats, marlins, etc. even if you beat up on cubs, padres, mariners, tigers, etc. first of all that shouldn't happen, but that's what this team did all year, if you weren't a mets fan they were hard to like watching them, well if you were a mets fans they were even harder to like, because of all the stuff they pulled over this season. good luck to the reds I have a feeling they will need it against the dodgers. time will tell. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
