The reason I believe Anavex is selling shares at the end of the day is quite simple: As a prerequisite of any approval, the EMA may require Anavex to prove they have the necessary funds to run a confirmatory trial. The Anavex team is simply preparing for this possibility.

This is just my opinion, of course.
