Unless their REE orebody, if one is present, is daylighting, they are likely to only get anomalous REE results. 89ppm dysprosium! Woohoo!
If their REE anomalies overly their geophysical anomalies (thorium radiometrics, gravity, magnetotellurics, mag), then they have drill targets. Drill it and see.
What if the big REE orebody, if present, is at substantial depth and there's little to no indication of it in the surface geochemistry. Then you're possibly searching for a geochemically blind deposit and left to poking holes in geophysical anomalies, finger's crossed. If I had a dollar for every geophysical anomaly I drilled and got skunked, I'd probably have enough for a decent wagyu ribeye with a lobster tail and a really nice bottle of Napa red, for two....
