have a poke around and see what parts per million concentration is considered rich.
I am pretty familiar with REE results, and what kind of numbers are worth getting excited about. Here's the deal at Mountain Pass with their grades:
At 1 July 2020, Proven and Probable Reserves, using a 3.83% total rare-earth oxide (REO) cutoff grade, were 18.9 million tonnes of ore containing 1.36 million tonnes of REO at an average grade of 7.06% REO.[9] The ore body is about 200 ft (61 m) thick and 2,300 ft (700 m) long.
1% is 10,000 ppm. So, their cutoff is 38,300 ppm total REO. Anything below that is not considered "ore".
If the results to be released someday by Dateline are in the hundreds of PPM total REO range, that ain't much to get excited about. We'll see. Even a result in the thousands is too low to economically mine.....but would be interesting. Again, we'll see. Maybe.
two leading rare earth geologist in the world to say that Colosseum is the most exciting new resource being explored, surveyed, sampled and, in the near future, drilled anywhere in the world currently,
A little company stock will sometimes "help" a geologist with their opinions. Especially ones that are way beyond their working, active years in the field. I understand one of the two you refer to is in his 90's.
Do your own research, use third-party sources, and don't buy into the hype.
