It was actually Stephen MacFarlane who was the lead author both on the P2a and the P2b/3 AD trial papers, but - Yes and keep in mind that drugs with brilliant peer reviewed papers written by highly respect folks does not always equate to drug approval.

I have several times recounted why at present I assign a 25% chance of approval for A2-73 in AD from current trials data, which doesn't of course excluded approval - it is just IMO less likely that many here believe.

If/when the EMA clock starts ticking again, as I have also said many times, my odds of approval goes up!

I very much hope the clock WILL start ticking soon!
