Our Amprius batteries powered Zephyr, the AALTO high-altitude pseudo-satellite, for a NEW world record flight!🏅

The Zephyr's uninterrupted flight lasted 67 days, concluding on April 28th this year. It reached altitudes of 70,000 feet, surpassing its previous endurance record of 64 days.

This solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle operates in the stratosphere, charging during the day and relying on Amprius' ultra-high-energy-density lithium-ion cells overnight.🌙

We are honored to have been a key factor in the Zephyr's successful mission that lasted over two months and now marks the longest continuous aircraft flight ever recorded!
