IFR is indeed an interim funding mechanism. But, IMHO, the key point is (1) the NHS commissioned (i.e. approved???) Murcidencel/DCVax-L (but only through Individual Funding Requests (IFR), not widespread NHS funding) for the (2) treatment of cancers (all tumor-based cancers) and not just for Glioblastoma.
