Just as we think Anavex is starting to execute, today's PR is a reminder of how poorly the company handles its PR.
How did such a clinical success story "drug effective beyond 4 years" turn into a "Now we need a phase 3 trial but we don't have a phase 3 plan yet" in front of the 500 CEOs.
There should never be any quote from Dr. Juan Carlos Lopez-Talavera in future PRs. Why would you offer a poorly perceived business update with no appearant reason on a critically positive clinical update PR?

Also the headline "Topline ATTENTION-AD trial: Patients showed improved cognition and function over three years" makes it sound like "improved over baseline" but offers no further details in PR other than the delay-start analysis.
