If you want to use engineer speak, i should have said "motor" but you're grasping here. Still SUA & sudden veering events could be caused by issues with Teslas electric engines. I also suspect Teslas suffer Hutchison Effect in part because of EM radiation emitted by its motors.

Motor:

Those definitions make it pretty clear, that in an automotive application, “motor” and “engine” are interchangeable. So why is there such a confusion? Well, that comes down to engineers (it’s always easiest to blame the engineers). Used as a colloquial way to easily differentiate between an internal combustion powerplant and one that uses electricity, somehow, it has been codified in some circles that an engine uses combustion and a motor uses electricity, and never the twain shall meet.

In the early 19th century, the meanings of motor and engine had already begun to converge, both referring to a mechanism providing propulsive force. “The first recorded use of ‘engine’ to mean an electrical machine driven by a petroleum motor occurs in 1853,” says Fuller.

Today, the words are virtually synonymous. “Language evolves to take on new tasks,” she explains. “Without thinking about it, we adapt to new meanings and leave the old behind.” We talk about our computer’s dashboard, unaware that in the 1840s, the word referred to the board at the front of a carriage that stopped mud from being splashed on the coachman. Similarly, the term “search engine” harks back to the older meaning of “engine” as a contrivance, suggests Fuller. First used in 1984 to mean “a piece of hardware or software,” the phrase may have been informed by Charles Babbage’s 1822 use of “engine” to mean a calculating machine.

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?
