I took some tramadol twice yesterday and now I 'm awake at 2am and can't sleep.

In France, with all medications, you get a notice, very long, explaining what the drug is and how many ways it is likely to kill you. However you will most likely die free from the problems of the underlying conditions.

So I can't sleep, I decided to read the notice. It seems that the biggest problem with the drug is that it makes you want to sleep and is addictive. (Which is why I try to avoid taking any)

Reading further details, aside from killing you, in some cases it can cause insomnia.

Great, a drug that makes you want to sleep but keeps you awake.

Maybe I should just stick with alcohol....
