any thoughts on the Singer for India deal? I just read an article by an analyst who thinks Cincy was robbed. But I happen to like Singer a lot, so I am on the other side of the fence. No question KC needs to make some moves to help their offense. But to me, India is 'more than respectable' offensively for a second baseman, but thats it... more than respectable. I guess he's an ok fielder, but maybe one of those guys thats gonna have to move to 3B soon... and there his offense is less impressive. Gets on base a whole lot with his walks, but really, his slugging under .400 isn't great.

As for Singer, I guess I still feel there is more potential in this guy, and he's pretty good as is.. maybe get some years more years like '22. The fact that the Dodgers showed interest in Singer during his off '23 year shows they thought he had strong potential. Hard to find solid reliable starters, and he's only 28. Actually both the same age, and both locked up for the next three seasons.

Admittedly, I have rarely even seen India play, and even when I watched a Cincy game, I never really looked at him.
