The billion $ question: When does it (polymer based, aka LWLG) become "mature enough"? Not wild about assumed LWLG partner(s) announcing moving ahead with business as usual approach in production for 200G per lane and 1.6TB. Seems when horse is out of barn, takes even longer to get it back in and instead let the "right" horse out of the barn. Again begs the question of what's required to achieve necessary level of "maturity". And how much is the difference in price/performance/adoption of future approach to warrant an acceptable level of "immaturity"?
