I see one of our Usual Antagonists has cordially invited you to inquire of
some Shareholder of MGX to elicit their thoughts about "what happened?" there
and, most importantly, "why". I'll gladly accept that task, for I am one
of them. Yes! I'm a Shareholder of MGX, and now I'll tell you "The Rest Of
the Story", as Paul Harvey liked to say, not just what the Antagonists would
like you to know. Or think.
I'm sure you're already going, "Count? Are you crazy?! Investing in NBRI after
what happened at MGX?". Yes, I'm crazy... like the proverbial fox. You see,
I took the time to think with my brain instead of my glands as most investors
do, so I analysed "what happened" and "why", and I came to these conclusions:
Jared made two major mistakes and several smaller ones as he tried to guide
MGX to success, and make no mistake, there were successes, the award from S&P
Global Platts Metals being one of them.
Major Mistake #1: he tried to do too much, too fast, with too little. That
only works if nothing goes wrong. Well, things did go wrong and that was the
start of the Road Down the Slippery Slope.
Major Mistake #2: trusting his Board of Directors, whom he thought were all
behind him and some of whom he considered close personal friends. Oooops!
He didn't realise until too late that behind his back, they were merrily
planning this Nice Little Palace Coup. It amounted to the BoD being "Brutus",
"Cassius", and the other Roman Senators, with Jared getting to be "Big Julius"
HisOwnSelf. Shakespeare gives us a great account of What Happened Then, and
these assassins didn't even wait for the Ides of March.
The smaller mistakes aren't worth discussing, because the Two Big Ones did the
job. Now MGX lays comatose and moribund, halted on its primary exchange up in
Canada, and just as some thought North Bay would never be brought back to life
by anybody, the same is thought of MGX, as well, with the same hope of
never having to cover the naked shorts made there. Bad conclusion on both counts.
MGX will eventually rise, Phoenix-like, from its apparent ashes, just as NBRI
is rising, Phoenix-like, from its supposed demise.
Anyone who looks at what's happening quickly sees the obvious: that Jared is making
NBRI his "Comeback Kid" vehicle, the comeback is solidly underway, and once
firmly established, MGX will get its resurrection as well, using largesse from
NBRI to do so. Jared has clearly learned from the unfortunate events at MGX, and when I see someone
has learned from an unfortunate experience, I'm ready and willing to give them a second chance.
The first step on the Comeback Trail was taking control of NBRI, with a BoD he feels
he can really trust. The second step was to vend Fran from MGX into NBRI,
( weren't you curious about "why?" that was done? Well, now you know ) and the ore
from Fran is going through The Mill even now, with "first pour" imminent. Then
came the Mt Vernon "luck". Remember: "Luck" is when preparation meets opportunity.
Then came the genuinely-unexpected addition of Taber. Are you seeing the step-by-step
progression here now? How Jared intends to not only make North Bay Resources the
Legendary Gold Stock of the 2024-2030 Precious Metals Bull, he's going to do something
similar for MGX. THAT... is why I am not only a confident Shareholder of NBRI, I
have not given up on my MGX Shares, either. Indeed, I look forward to buying more
MGX once it begins trading again. When will that be? I don't know, and I don't
care. All I know is that it will happen. Because we're on The Jared Juggernaut now
and there's going to be no stopping it!
