Put one in the big crock with some water, chopped up onions, seasoning, some beef Better than Boullion, taters, and carrots and let ‘er cook all day.
When I make a pot roast in the crock pot I use a packet of Lipton's onion soup,a cup of water,some baby carrots and a chopped up onion. Start the crock pot on high for an hour then turn it down for a couple of hours.
We use Idaho instant red potatoes for the mashed with a salad on the side.
With the left over roast it gets cubed then with a jar of beef gravy it gets served over egg noodles.
