IHub and ADVFN are not the same thing. Yes, ADVFN owns IHub, but it doesn't exercise that much control over it. No changes took place till Clem got the boot in early 2022. And even then, it progressed slowly at first.

Yes, the admins said there was pressure from the UK to make the site more "modern". The sort of unspoken part was that people were complaining that users weren't allowed to attack each other constantly. The ability to do so was considered "modern". I can only say those people must have seen something in ADVFN that I don't.
