Tesla, employee to pay $60 million after verdict related to April 2017 crash

According to a news release from Trial Lawyers for Justice, a jury returned a verdict of $60,687,491 against Tesla and Kaszuba for “negligently broadsiding a motorcyclist named Chris Dugan” in April 2017.

“Tesla’s ethos can be defined by utter disregard for accountability,” Nick Rowley, the co-founder of Trial Lawyers for Justice, said in the release. “Refusing to accept responsibility can result in big consequences… A young father’s life was permanently destroyed. This verdict cannot repair the harm caused, but it will help provide Chris Dugan with the lifetime of care and support he needs.”

According to the complaint, officials said that Kaszuba “failed to use the care an ordinarily careful person would use…(and) failed to keep his vehicle under proper control… to avoid striking Christopher Dugan’s motorcycle.”

Nowhere in the article does it state the Tesla caused this accident. However, given the co-responsibility of the verdict I think its safe to assume that Autopilot or FSD caused this accident and the driver failed to "keep vehicle under proper control". Did the car glitch i wonder?
Hope this verdict helps the Huang case where his Tesla was on autopilot when it drove itself, and sped up, into the divider. Why is it that there is no article discussing how strange it is that Huang's Tesla sped up into the divider? Its bad enough that it repeatedly veered at that location but it also sped up? Wheres the discussion about the logs? Shouldnt there have been logs pertaining to acceleration and if so wouldnt that mean Huang stepped on the accelerator? I mean thats how they argue SUA isnt a thing. At the same time, if Huang did step on the accelerator then why didnt he take control of the steering as well? Guess it all depends on level of acceleration and accelerator pressure.

Tesla goes out of control hitting a hydrant and tree, burns its occupants alive as their friends try desperately to get them out.

It was learned that a speeding Tesla crashed into a fire hydrant at Macarthur Boulevard and Grant Lane Road in Tracy at 9.45pm on Friday night, then crashed into a tree and burst into flames.

Behind their car, their other friends were coming in another car, who tried hard to save their friends, but the car got locked and they could not do anything because of the flames.

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?
