No it is not Sintx colored glasses. Its based on the companies longstanding relationship and the fact that Zimmer sent Sonny to Sintx; Zimmer is likely the main reason Sonny's Chairman/CEO. A move done to protect its interests in Sintx.
Zimmer spends 1 billion to acquire LDR and then stops all innovation of spine why? This includes no innovation with the Mobi line that was acquired with LDR which was supposed to be innovative tech. Spine is one of the largest sub markets in ortho and thus represents a significant opportunity for growth with the right innovation. Logically, as Zimmer is an ortho company, spine being one of the largest sub-markets in ortho, it makes sense to for it to invest in innovation of its Spine portfolio. Since, as it turns out, it did not invest in spine in-house (revealed by ZimVie CEO), the only conclusion im left with is, its been eyeing innovation outside the company. As both companies have a longstanding relationship and "silicon nitride is destined to become a leader to replace titanium and other entrenched biomaterials", you can see why I naturally put two and two together.
Zimmer family of companies has been behind the scenes of Sintx since it was founded just like Eli Lilly was with Amylin. In an interesting parallel both companies began the process of shedding their old spine IP at the same time. It just took Zimmer alot longer to dispose of. They share IPR&D in hip and Zimmer hired a Si3N4 coating expert. Do you deny any of this? What am I missing?

Getting rid of low growth money losers is a normal function of running a business.

Yes this is a true statement but its hardly the whole story. Im not looking for partial truths.

Silicon Nitride, a Close to Ideal Ceramic Material for Medical Application

examples of their medical applications that relate to spinal, orthopedic and dental implants, bone grafts and scaffolds, platforms for intelligent synthetic neural circuits, antibacterial and antiviral particles and coatings, optical biosensors, and nano-photonic waveguides for sophisticated medical diagnostic devices are all covered in the research reviewed herein. The examples provided convincingly show that silicon nitride is destined to become a leader to replace titanium and other entrenched biomaterials in many fields of medicine.

Could it be that there is a strategy to distract people away from looking at the basic data?
Is all this an exercise to create more and more forum verbiage to drown out any serious discussion of evidence?
