ORBAPU, I should rephrase what I said.
I did not mean lack of scientific evidence. I meant that when people TAKE Vascepa, you do not suddenly have an evident outcome. For example, you take statins, your cholesterol drops (often precipitously). You take insulin, your blood sugar and insulin stabilizes. You take anti-biotics to clear up infections. You take ibuprofin and your muscle aches go away.
With Vascepa, there is tremendous benefit to your body. But you don't necessarily KNOW that chronic inflammation goes down. You don't necessarily FEEL much different. You might not KNOW that your risk of CVD is going down. You might not KNOW that your risk of AD goes down.
Vascepa is almost like a silent treatment.
Ask doctors why people go off Vascepa. This is probably one of the primary reasons - you simply can't see it working.
