Newbies, yesterday's hoopla was because I challenged the narrative here that Polymer Slot will be first to market and the company is on the verge of making many announcements to that end.

The allegations that I was somehow 'twisting' things came despite my showing a recent post from KCC - arguably the one with the best scientific understanding among posting longs - that he believes the Stack - not the Slot - is likely to be first to market. Now, he is modifying his stance - as he posted on Reddit just last night that all three can come at any time. I wonder why the change of mind...Roll eyes here...

Longs think there are strong clues that Slot (which would be a larger market) is ready. I think there are quite a few clues that it isn't ready. We all question what the "commercial PR" is about too -- some think it is the more advanced Slot or Plus with foundries, others think it is the 'classic' Stack which has far less reach and is developed in-house. To me if it was the Slot or Plus Dr Lebby would have shouted that from the mountaintops..but not a peep during ASM which WAS focused on foundry work..Plus we found out a few weeks later of their partner claiming to offer their polymer product for 'commercialization'. And that's not using Lightwave modulators through a foundry...It just adds up.

There will always be optimists who will argue that orders will come far before the product is even ready....well, hope does spring eternal. One thing NO ONE can argue about is this quote from Dr Lebby just a couple months ago at ASM:

But one of the things the end users ask us is, what is the reliability and the stability of this material. We've hired [Indiscernible] here as Director of Reliability and he's putting together a first class reliability team to make sure we not only have two of these graphs, but a lot more of these graphs because this is what the end users want to see.

Now the top one just shows you thermal stability. There's 400 hours, but you can see here the change in V-Pi is minimal. This is at a stress at 85 degrees. This is a thermal stability test. You can see the results are looking really nice. Obviously, we're going to keep these in the oven and keep this going. In terms of photo stability, I just wanted to show there was a whole bunch of questions have you done more than 5,000 hours. This is running about 9,000 hours, with pretty good optical intensity of 1,550.
We're getting some really nice performance here over the long term. This is going to increase this year and it's going to increase next year, and everybody wants to see this type of data

Does that sound like the end users or really ANYBODY is ready to place orders?
