I'm a Kaiser ASCVD patient , prescribed Vascepa ...copay $2 a month
I don't see Kaiser withdrawing the V scripts for the ASCVD patients enrolled in MITIGATE . I'm MITIGATE ASCVD profile . I can't see them saying ...oh well the 12 mths is up ...no more V for you.

I suspect they are doing long term CV outcome follow up ... for at least 2 yrs since starting these patients on V.
There is a risk here ....that after 2 yrs they find no difference in CV events between those on V and those in the followed SOC group.
There's also the possibility they find clinically significant risk reduction after 2 yrs ...even if not to R-IT standards ...but at least enough to be considered clinical significant
