Your ratio charts are interesting. All ratio charts that I have seen are based on a ratio, that is dividing one thing by another. You have substracted one etf from another. Since the price of XLP is one half that of XLY, I am surpirsed that your chart seems to give the about the same result of a typical ratio chart. See below for my XLY:XLP chart vs your XLY-XLP. You can see on the right scale that the ratio is about 2.
The next chart is my XLY chart. It has been pulling back, but broke above trend line today as well as TA's all saying buy.
