It would not surprise me to learn that Dr. Denner has been talking with Carl Icahn and IEP staff. While Icahn has been quoted lately that he believes the economy may be heading toward a recession, he also is reported to still have most of a large short position in GME that he initiated at a share price of $483 in January 2021. He will leave that position when he is ready. See Barron’s, 11/25/2022.

The two worked together, I recall, when LLY bought IMCL at ~ $70/share about 14 years ago. BMY’s Tender Offer of $60 per share was not filled. Icahn had 14% of IMCL’s shares.
