Welcome back! A short while ago (early August) you said 3M was “not investible” (#msg-169587919), so I’m a little surprised.

No matter the outcome of the appellate ruling this is a lawsuit that will go on for years until it reaches the Supreme Court.

3M still has a couple of ways to win without the case going all the way to the USSC, as noted in #msg-169803125. If 3M prevails in the federal circuit court, it’s not a certainty that the USSC will grant cert to an appeal by the earplug plaintiffs.
