Thanks. That's a pretty easy way to password protect a folder in XP. Right click desktop and choose new compressed folder and name it whatever you want. Now drag the files you want to protect into the compressed folder. Open the folder and go to "File"/ Add a password. Type in your password and confirm the password and then close the folder. Next time you try to open the folder and try to open a file you will be prompted for your password. The only irritating thing I ran across was when you add new files to the folder you have to go to file/remove password and then go to file/add password or the added files don't get password protected. For some reason jpeg format doesn't get protected.
