I agree, I believe that the DCVax's may be a new paradigm in the treatment of all solid cancers, but they don't do it all by themselves. BP has to realize that there is still room for their therapeutics and in reality, those therapeutics found to work best with the vaccines may see substantially improved sales as people living longer are using more, not less, of these products.

Dr. Liau has pretty much said this as she showed the vaccine as one of I believe it was 4 things that she'd use to attack GBM. Some of those other 4 exist, others still need to be developed. Who knows, she may find she needs to add a 5th or 6th, or maybe 3 can get the job done. The point is, surgery and the vaccine are 2 of what's needed, some other things are currently known to have benefits, but they just might be replaced by therapeutics that do the job better.

Perhaps in time therapeutics can actually be added to the vaccine, so in giving it, you're giving both at the same time. I don't see this as necessary, but many therapeutics are available that way, why not vaccine/therapeutics. The thing is, such moves often extend patent rights and improve treatment. Personalized products are the future and with the FlaskWork device, we can profit from the work of others as well.
