That picture was off the net. I have friends that hunt in Texas and they hunt from pits too, just not a nice as ours. When I want a duck or goose picked I take it to a picker, boy are they fast and only about $3.00 each, not bad. And yes, I love goose for Christmas or Thanksgiving, but I do mine on the grill and smoke it. Just bought a huge deeper fryer this year to try and deep fry one. Suppose to be really good and juicy. Goose is better than turkey, more rich in flavor.
