That price I gave you for picking was quite a few years ago and geese are more like $10 back then. I know one thing thou, you won't catch me picking one, way to much work.
What part of Texas do they hunt in, Dan? I would think the area around Houston where they get a lot of rain wouldn't be conducive to hunting from a pit. But I'll find out for sure in the next day or so.
I haven't tasted goose in many years. My Mother roasted it in the oven. I must have liked it for I can close my eyes and remember how it looked just before the carving.
