Of course they did, but it wasn’t enough, was it? They needed a manufacturing capability that hadn’t even been invented yet — Flaskworks.

At the end of 2014, LP stated they were spending a lot of time thinking how they were going to be able to handle (potentially) hundreds of thousands of cases. Massive manual manufacturing just can’t do it.

The only reasonable solution (according to LP) was end to end automated closed system production. Shashi Murthy and team received a four year grant from the NIH to start that in June 2015. (Although the grant was publicized, no one here had a clue about the project until NWBO bought Flaskworks a year ago)
