Because NWBO is not a contract manufacturer they just need to show proof that manufacturing can be done to qualify for Project Orbis. If an NDA was signed to view some discussions between NWBO and a regulator about the potential need to have sufficient capacity for world wide demand for GBM and rGBM do you think that Charles Rivers Labs might be interested? NWBO received a substantial amount of money in convertible loans so is this potential collateral?
Gus, these folks appear to all be dancing around each other to keep this on the up and up so whether there is a hidden contract in place, multi party verbal understanding or letter of intent with heavy penalties for backing out I don’t know but something sure seems to be there between multiple parties and the lawyers know what it is and how to get the leverage they want.
In the past NWBO financed much of the buildout of Cognate and Advent/Sawston. The ramp up now is beyond them and the majority of risk seems to be falling on those who want an NDA protected potential business opportunity being prepared for.
