"""My Broker in Germany told that it's related to BBH (probably Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.). I never got a response from BBH when I have asked them for further information regarding detailed costs and so on.""" ANd that group as well has HUGE HITTERS INVOLVED
They are in the TPS group and they probably HOPED that you would just say OH HECK it's NBD just delete them, I don't intend to pay a fee on something worth nothing,. Heirs will be the ones that most likely that would be able to be CONNED into doing it, since they most likely would have no idea as to WHAT MIGHT BE COMING BACK here, all they see is it has no value NOW!!!!!!!!..
And you can BET that many houses have done the exact same thing and most likely have a large pile of these issues that they have talked clients into just letting them go.
HMMMMMMMMMMMM and put them in a stash at THE COMPANYs slush fund so to speak.........then say after the 3 yrs or so all would have forgotten and moved on and would be none the wiser.
Can't DODAT you say, hmmmmmmmmmmmm why not? IF IF IF the client GIVES PERMISSION to delete them from their accts' WHO would be the wiser????
And the co would only care if IF IF they got caught and so they cough up a small fine MAYBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
