Among the selections in my cookbook library is a large, heavy book titled The Silver Spoon. I've been told that many Italians consider it "The Bible" of Italian cooking. Are you familiar with it, and if so, do you agree with the sentiment? In any event, I'm going to have to dust it off and begin making better use of it, it now seems.
