I wish it were true, but he's a snake, he has his minions who follow him and use him on the short side, and in spite of being wrong, he'll twist it around like a snake and claim he had it right all along.
I'm really not very high on most Analysts, it always amazes me that anyone follows many brokerage Analysts when they appear on CNBC. I haven't been watching recently, but can't say how many times I've seen them interviewed where their prior recommendations were shown and all had lost since their last appearance, why would anyone take their advice. I also hate it when an Analyst sets a target, then changes his rating from buy to hold, if the stock continues to rise he'll always take full credit, after all, he never said sell, even though he raised other stocks to buy. I used to like Jim Mc Camments, but believe he's retired, at least he would reevaluate his recommendations and set new targets routinely, but then he didn't work for a brokerage, and he wasn't a tool for the shorts.
Agencies like Reuter's have totally lost my respect as they no longer employ technical experts in the field. If a company misses on earning, but is curing cancer, their headline reads, XXXX misses on earnings. If you're lucky they might mention people being cured, but the people they hire are told to pay attention to the earnings regardless of other things the company is doing, and the same guy is writing releases on biotech's, food, aircraft, hardware, electronics, etc. they met, exceeded, or missed on consensus, what more do you need to know.
