One would assume anyone buying penny stocks not only knows how to do basic DD, but actually does it.

Bad assumption. Most have no idea what they are investing in. They read a few PR pumps, and listen to the pumpers on a forum. That's their basic DD.

I have really lost just about all sympathy for those that don't bother to do any basic DD whatsoever before "investing".

It's best not to tilt at windmills trying to save the Dreamers from themselves. After all unlike the pumpers, we are telling them what they don't want to hear - that they are being scammed. Instead view it as natural selection. If a Dreamer wants to believes, without stopping to think, then it's probably best to allow them to Dream, and be scammed right out of the market. Less fuel for future scams.

The entertainment is to short circuit the pump the scammers are playing. Along with any supporting pumps coming from the pump gangs. The Dreamers are on their own, as to what they decide.
