Koikaze.. Ignorant doesn't carry negative connotations as you suggest. Despite all the readily available knowledge at my fingertips, I do feel ignorant when it comes to voting, the direction of this country, etc... I know I do not have all the information. And the information that I do have could be wrong.


Here’s this saying out there that goes something like this; The more I learn, the less I know...Or something like that...

Secondly, how many times have I/you been emphatically sure of something, providing what we believe to be an air tight case; only to later find ourselves wrong? Surely ignorance of some fact somehow led us astray.

Third, political obfuscation as a method of attack keeps people ignorant by overloading them with irrelevant tripe as a basis for making decisions.

Finally. Doesn’t matter how superior your intellect is, the wrong information will lead you down the wrong path each and every time. The intellectually superior are just as ignorant as the rest of us.
