First, I want to say that was a very nice presentation.

As to your closing, I don't know what you think I'm trying to say but it's not very complicated: I think it improper, indeed, offensive, to call voters ignorant.

All you know about the voters is the result of their votes. If the result was in accordance with your wishes, it is unlikely you'd categorize the voters as ignorant; that would include you in the assessment. Therefore, the only alternative is that the people you are calling ignorant are the people who did not vote as you think they should have. That is not an adequate basis for an attribution of ignorance. In fact, it could just as easily be an indication of their superior intellect.
