My understanding of the seniors-converted scenario is that it (along with Treasury sending $125B to FnF) moots the lawsuits other than WF, and thus no settlement would be necessary with any non-WF plaintiff.

I think recap and release can proceed with the WF case outstanding because damages would only come from Treasury, who should stop being involved with the recap and release process by the time the re-IPO comes around.
