On Feb 6 2020, Judge Du's mentally ill stepson, to whom Judge Du was now a single parent since the untimely death of her husband two years before...was killed in a police standoff...The Amarin vs. Generics trial was in Jan-Feb 2020...the Judge's surprising decision...which could lead to the destruction of Vascepa, the sole product of Amarin...and potentially to the destruction of Amarin itself...came out in March 2020...It is possible that Judge Du's attention was not totally consumed by this case in the period of time during the trial and during her decision.
