At full retail cost minus the coupon , I didn’t renew my prescription for Vascepa

I switched to a DS alternative ... not as good but only $66 a month

Now Vascepa only costs me $24 a month as my Kaiser insurance will now cover .... so of course I switched back to Vascepa

Price influences consumer behavior ... something you appear to ignore .

Agree this is a factor. But some insurers do cover some off label. (And I’d put HMOs as the insurers least likely to do so). But regardless, chronic drug taking patients, taking drug was a disease with no symptoms, have a long history of poor compliance. Particularly as it becomes more general retail.
