In order to keep the peace I let her pick the listing agent. Big mistake, all she wanted to do was dump the house on first offers telling me
why they were such solid offers, those were my biggest fights during the ordeal. The year was worth it and sticking to my guns as
we ended up only negotiating 5k off the original asking. What sucked was I had to split the sale $ since the 20% down, payments, gas conversion,
new furnace, water heater, roof and all improvements over 12 years came out of my paychecks. She paid some of the utilities and food.
Divorce bites, but thanks to my efforts it remained fairly civilized. As a matter of fact she came crawling around my back door a few times
for a year afterward lol.
