Dear Spouse was interim Director of SEC Reporting of an NYSE company, and wanted us to transfer to Fort Worth, TX. We seriously thought about it. Dear Spouse can file Ks and Qs and deal with the CFO and Legal like there is no tomorrow. But it just didn't pay enough, and to move to Fort Worth, errr, wasn't in the plans.

Stat treated dear spouse like chit. Paid well, but when dear spouse asked for vacation time to take dear daughter to move into the dorm, said don't come back. Dear spouse said, take it and shove it.

Why does ex have an MS and and MBA? Why not PhD? I keep pushing dear spouse to get the PhD, but I keep getting rebuffed, "I like paychecks", not drafting a "thesis"
