About a year ago I was going for my semi-annual FAA mandated medical exam and was diagnosed with RBBB (Right branch bundle block, quite benign so I'm told). Subsequent testing(nuclear stress, echo, cardiac cath) reveled clean arteries. For approx. 3 years prior to that I was taking OmmegaVia EPA. Card put me on a statin and I asked for Vasepa. He prescribed V without hesitation. Aetna doesn't seem to mind off label use; I've gotten no push back. $9 copay for 3 mo. supply. Currently flying the 777, ultra long haul. I have to admit that my career has been fun but I'm a bit weary and looking forward to retirement and being able to have normal sleep patterns again. I think I remember what those are like. Cheers.
