That was the point of the information I posted earlier on agonists.
Not all agonists are the same. Some are strong. Some medium and some are weak. All are agonists.
So comparing all agonists of a particular receptor and expecting them to all have the same strength of action is an erroneous comparison.

Yes....and some ligands that bind antagonize. My comments are often characterized as saying binding affinity = action but, when that is intentional, it is only a convenient way to avoid what I'm getting at, which is...Is there any reason/evidence to expect that 2-73 agonism is better??? (along with the issue of relative affinities can prevent receptor access).
