You keep referring to the Intel version. In remembering the contract that DFMI signed with Iterated in 9/2000, it was clearly marked that it was an addendum to the March 2000 agreement between Iterated and DFI. DFI was no more and DFI didn't pay one penny to Iterated because the contract also called for Iterated to own 5% of the licensee's company shares and receive $500K immediately and a five figure monthly payment thereafter. As such DFMI was formed and TMM did not then, nor at anytime thereafter, have any rights to DFMI property.
I learned this at Elliot's home, with Fernandez, when I saw a video demonstration that Simpson and Stratter put on. Fernandez introduced me to DFMI and I was pizzed because I thought TMM owned the rights. Fernandez told me that all TMM owned then was the non-exclusive rights to Real's Clear Video. He told me not to worry because it was a good codec.
That's when I first lost faith in TMM
